a week before anyone else....♫...
I bought my monthly metro pass! 68$ for a normal person, 37$ for a student with an OPUS card!! It`s so awesome that I can go anywhere I want....
So, I was taking Math 140, Physics 101, Chem 110, and Bio 111. Very, very yuck. *grimace*
However, the professors were SO awesome!!! For the first class, every class was sorta like a fun intro, with backgrounds of the prof, the course content, some of what it`s about, and jokes. The chem prof was the BEST! This guy, Ariel Fenster, was on the Discovery Channel, as I found out later! And when I googled, he came up.. on Wikipedia! Anyways, it was the most interesting lecture ever, as he told us about the difference between disposable diapers and washable ones (`If you ask babies which they would prefer, 99.99% will say that they would like disposable diapers.`) LOL! And he did magic by sprinkling magic powder into a beaker of water, turning it dark, and taking the powder out with a hand motion, as the beaker miraculously become clear again. And then he satisfied out curiosity about fake snow- and made it in front of us! He threw it at 2 people in the front row, hahaha.
And the Physics professor, despite how I feel about the subject, was super awesome and funny too! What`s with the thing about skinny Physics teachers?? I've noticed that my Physics prof is skinny and tall too, like my high school physics teacher, and when I asked others, they said their physics teachers back in high school were like that too. Hmmm........ I guess if they have no flabby parts to defy gravity with, they have one less thing to worry about, and can direct their attentions on more important pursuits such as pondering about astrophysics.
I think I'm getting into the school mood now. Now that I have homework, I mean.
